Dan and I have been beer lovers for almost as long as we've known each other. We started really getting into craft beer about the time when the craft brewery business thankfully started booming nation-wide (and now internationally too!). Although one of our favorite ways to relax with each other on the weekends is scouting out local craft breweries and planning our next big adventure, we decided recently that we should try out brewing ourselves. These pages document our ex-beer-iments (I had to!)...some were flops, some turned out great. All were fun to make and the sheer variety of hops, yeasts, and malts still amazes me.

We are not all-grain brewers yet so please bare with us as we navigate the amateur world of brew-kits and malt extracts. We will eventually be going all-grain, once we get more living (aka brewing) space. Our kitties love it when we brew too so you’ll see them photo-bombing our sessions.
