After departing Glacier Bay National Park, we spent the next few days making our way south between Admiralty Island on the east, and Baranof and Chicagof Islands on the west.  We spent a couple days moored in inlets, allowing kayak and shore excursions along the way.  In the open waters, Captain Dan located multiple groups of humpbacks (fairly common), and a pod of orcas (much less common)!  We continued the "routine" of gourmet meals, free flowing drinks, and surprisingly good company from the rest of the guests.  With a few exceptions, this type of cruise seems to attract those who appreciate nature and the outdoors, and dad and I got to be much more extroverted than we usually are.

The cloudy weather actually made for beautiful contrasts

A seal saying "hi"

Not an orca--this was a Dall's Porpoise riding the bow wave of the ship

Amazing sunsets
